Diana is a passionate Resilience professional with over 20 years of experience in developing, implementing and leading the execution of corporate programs focusing on health and safety, wellbeing, crisis management and business continuity.
Roles
As a protector and believer in human potential Diana fulfilled several roles in Public Health, which required coaching, facilitation, research, analysis, training, development and implementation of compliance driven programs and protocols. Most of these roles were ultimately about caring for people and influencing behavior as a health practitioner. Her career at NIKE continued in this space of preventing and managing impacts due to unsafe situations centering around development and delivery of various resilience disciplines: health and safety, crisis management and business continuity.
Scope
Diana led global programs, cross geo teams, organized professional development and facilitated strategic planning sessions as part of occupational safety teams. She led the way with health and wellbeing striving always for the integration of these concepts in the daily workplace as well as influencing inclusion in the overall company health and wellbeing strategy under facilities and human resources umbrella.
Over the past 10 years Diana has been professionally mainly focusing on crisis management and business continuity in the Europe Middle East and Africa geography, where the focus was on frameworks setup, planning for and managing incidents which could impact not only people, but ultimately the business and operational continuity. Her experience includes corporate environments, retail, supply chain, and brand events.
Achievements
In her roles, Diana set up numerous crisis management teams, led response for hundreds of incidents caused by natural disasters, man-made and accidental threats. She led cross functional professional teams and senior leadership through incidents ranging from weather through war. Her scope also included crafting and delivering a robust response mechanism for projects and large scale events. As a trusted adviser she empowered her teams and senior leadership elevating the maturity of the Resilience corporate culture.
Development and roll out of Program Strategy, Policies, Procedures, Playbooks and Training programs within Health & Safety, Crisis Management & Business Continuity have been her main area of success. Her strategic approach, influencing skills and operational mindset was critical for raising awareness, shifting behavior and enhancing program adoption.
Interests
Always fascinated by the human behavior, body and mind, process and trained as a professional nurse and social worker, Diana never stopped learning. Soon after starting at Nike she specialized in Occupational Health & Safety and Business Continuity. Throughout her career she developed an interest in the way the brain and the body works on daily routine and in the face of challenges and adversity. Diana felt there is more to the human than just the physical body. She deepened her knowledge in holistic lifestyle philosophies among which yoga, movement meditation, mindfulness, sound healing and breath work.
As a strong believer in holistic wellness, Diana is balancing integration of physical, mental and emotional health in her approach to life and work ethos, therefore cultivating empowerment for resilience.
